The AirVent vent is designed for reliable and safe venting of an IBC container, especially when two containers are placed vertically one above the other.
Due to its extremely low profile, it prevents mechanical issues that can occur when the upper container is full.

🔍 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

This vent is designed for simple and efficient venting of the lower IBC container when the containers are placed one above the other.
It is important that the upper container does not have a central support foot, which is the case for most IBC containers on a metal pallet.

A special feature of the AirVent vent is its extremely low profile. When the upper container is full, its bottom slightly bends and lowers due to the weight. Taller vents can cause mechanical issues or damage in such cases.
With the AirVent solution, you can have peace of mind.


🔩 INSTALLATION AND COMPATIBILITY

Pred nakupom preverite navoj na sredini zgornjega pokrova vaše IBC cisterne, saj niso vsi enaki.

Navoj je lahko fini 2″ BSP (najpogosteje pri Schutz cisternah) ali pa grob S56×4 (korak 4 mm, običajno pri Mauser cisternah).

Oddušnik se privije v pokrov IBC cisterne s sredinskim navojem.


💨 WHY A 3/4″ (20 mm) CONNECTION?

The usual connection between two IBC containers is 1″ (32 mm).
The same amount of water that flows from the upper container into the lower one requires the same amount of air to exit the lower container at its top. The key factor is the airflow volume – physics.

During testing we found that a 20 mm (3/4″) internal pipe diameter is the optimal choice:

  • garden hose (smaller diameter) → air exits too slowly → swelling or compression of the container
  • 1″ (32 mm) → may cause height issues

🔄 USE IN DUO VERTICAL / 4X SYSTEM

  • connect a 3/4″ hose (20 mm inner diameter) to the hose barb
  • secure the hose above the highest water level
  • the container can breathe, while the water does not leak out

👉 In our offer we have a 3/4″ reinforced hose, you need up to 2 m.


⚙️ OPTION 16 mm (1/2″)

We kept the 16 mm (1/2″) version as an alternative if it better suits your specific setup or existing hoses.
