What does “automatic” rainwater collection mean

An automatic system means that:

  • there is no manual connecting or disconnecting of hoses,
  • there is no risk of the tank overflowing,
  • the system operates continuously, even when you are not there,
  • larger particles (> 1 mm) are removed already in the first filtration phase,
  • in the tank cover, a second, fine filtration (0.4 mm) is carried out,
  • clean water flows into the tank,
  • when the tank is full, excess water is automatically redirected back into the downpipe.

This is achieved with a combination of the right downpipe filter and a unique sealing cover.

QUADRO – automatic downpipe filter and overflow back into the downpipe

QUADRO is designed for automatic rainwater collection, drainage, and overflow.

What does QUADRO do

  • ✔️ separates larger particles (> 1 mm), such as leaves and coarse dirt,

How the system works in practice

Even water level equalization across multiple IBC tanks.

If you have multiple IBC tanks connected, all other tanks must be properly vented at the top. Only then can air flow freely between the tanks, allowing the water level to equalize evenly without air pockets or irregular flow.

Do you want a simpler version, without two-stage filtration and without the need for venting?

For this solution, you need the Quadro drain filter and the IBC WallPort 50 bulkhead fitting.

Quadro ensures filtration and overflow of excess water, while WallPort 50 enables a reliable connection of a 50 mm hose through the wall of the IBC tank (60 mm hole). The excess water is automatically returned to the downpipe or drain, without manual overflow or additional improvisation.

Venting (if you have multiple tanks connected):
To ensure that connected IBC tanks can “breathe” properly, it is not necessary to add special vents. It is sufficient to slightly loosen the caps (a few turns) on the tanks that are not filled directly. This allows air to flow freely and the water level to equalize evenly.
