Almost identical reducers can be found on the market, but beware that those with a much thinner wall are less massive.

When using a tap or any kind of connector, we recommend using Teflon.

Tip1:
Before installation, make sure that the cheek of the tank valve (where the reducer is installed) is smooth and undamaged. New tanks have an aluminium seal on the valve opening - if this is superficially removed, this may be the cause of a poor seal. Any imperfections on the valve should be removed or sanded with sandpaper before the first installation of the pressure reducer.

Tip2:
When fitting any connector to this reducer, be sure to use Teflon tape. This is the only way to ensure a perfect seal and the correct position of the tap or connector.
